PONTIAC TIRE PRESSURE - Grand Prix, Grand Am, Vibe, Sunfire, Firebird

Maintaining the recommended tire pressure for Pontiac Grand Prix, Vibe, G6, Grand Am, Sunfire, Solstice, Torrent, G3, G5, Firebird, Fiero, G8 and other Pontiac models enhances road safety, optimizes fuel efficiency and tire tread wear, and lowers fuel and tire costs.

Launched in 1926 by GM, Pontiac initially appealed to middle class America until after the Second World War years. In the late 1950s, it replaced the American Indian head gear emblem with an inverted red American Indian arrow tip and began to make faster and sportier cars targeting a younger crowd, including with now classic car models like the Firebird and the Fiero.

Sadly, the nearly a century old car brand was discontinued in 2010 by GM as part of its bankruptcy reorganization plan, a victim of poor corporate management by executives who grew complacent during the decades when gas prices were low.

But this decision does not absolve GM from supporting the owners that drive its cars, even those that are no longer being manufactured. So please contact them by clicking here and remind them that better tire pressure monitoring sensors are needed for all Pontiacs, as well as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Corvette and Yukon vehicles still on the road.
